Pergolas, Arbors, and Tikis

As you can see, Outdoor Impressions specializes in the unique, and pergolas, arbors, and tiki huts are just another way we bring your personal style outdoors. Our pergolas are custom designed and custom built to perfectly fit your outdoor living space—no prefabricated pergolas here! We build our pergolas out of pressure-treated wood to stand the test of time and set the posts with concrete to ensure stability because quality is of utmost importance to our company. Pergolas are practical because they can provide shade in the sunny Florida sun, but they are also beautiful. Whether you are designing a contemporary, classic, or romantic outdoor living space, pergolas can add dimension and interest to your design. Pergolas can be built on raised patios or on separate patios reached by a paver or natural stone walkway. This design fills up a large outdoor space and gives the eye (and your guests!) more to enjoy. Columns can also be built around the posts as seen in the pictures, and walls can be built to accommodate more seating. These options are both functional and offer more opportunities to truly make your pergola a reflection of your personal tastes. Fireplaces can also be incorporated into your pergola design, making the possibilities unlimited. And for those of you with large screen enclosures—we can also build pergolas inside the screen to give you all the benefits and beauty of a pergola without the pesky bugs to worry about!

Arbors offer similar benefits to pergolas, just on a smaller scale. Arbors are great options for hanging swings as seen in the picture to the right, and like pergolas, vines and flowers can be trained to grow up the sides of arbors to create that romantic look and feel.

Lastly, tiki huts offer a tropical look to your space which is great for entertaining. Keep in mind, however, that tiki huts do require more maintenance than pergolas and require permits whereas most pergolas do not.
