Travertine is a natural stone similar to marble but more porous. The travertine that we install is a 2,6 density rating and derives from Turkey. Travertine will give you a very luxurious look and feel to your outdoor project. Travertine has a non-slip surface, and stays cool on your feet in hot weather that makes it a great material choice for pool paving.
Travertine can be used for a variety of projects. They can be laid for a driveway but most of the time they are used for pool deck and patio remodels.
Honed/chiseled edge Travertine pavers are mainly used for outdoor and landscaping projects. It is available in varying thicknesses and sizes. Travertine in this finish are available in the following colors: ivory, creme, silver, gold, and noce.
Tumbled Travertine Pavers are ideal for outdoor and landscaping projects as well. This type of finish can be found in multiple sizes, colors, and thicknesses.
Applications
Once Travertine is quarried it is then cut into paver size and thickness. This enables Travertine pavers to be used as a paving material. Commercially, Travertine paving stones have been used for street pavements, market, malls and also churches.
Travertine pavers are used widely in the landscaping industry. It can create unique arrangements for outdoor flooring, such as: balconies, patios, around the pool and walkways.

Travertine Pavers are 1 1/4" thick and are never polished, the sizes vary but most commonly come in 6x12, 12x12, 16x16, 24x24 and the French Pattern which is a multiple size set: 16x24, 16x16, 8x16, 8x8
