| Thick Pavers |

Description
Thick Pavers are primarily used for driveway installations. But they are also a great product when there is no pre-existing concrete surface. Thick pavers come in many sizes and colors, and because of their thickness can be tumbled. This creates a “Antiqued” look or “Old World feel”. Thick pavers are installed over a 4-6" crushed concrete base material and then laid on a 3/4" bed of concrete sand.
Application
Thick Pavers are used in a wide variety of projects. Driveways, patios and new construction pool decks are all great surfaces for thick pavers. Because the pavers are laid on-top of a crushed concrete surface this allows for the pavers to be compacted after install to provide a very smooth uniform surface. Thick pavers can also be used for columns, mailboxes and steps.
Sizes & Colors
Thick Pavers come in many shapes, sizes and textures. The thickness allows for very large sizes such as 16x16 and can also be tumbled & antiqued to give an "old world" look. Colors run all the way through the paver as opposed to a "face mix" paver. Things to consider when selecting a think paver, is absorption rate, breaking strength and density. Benefits
The main benefits of using a thick paver is that no matter what if something happens under the paver, it can be removed and the problem fixed and then the same paver goes right back down. This allows for years of worry free application from cracking, spreading or re-design of the project area.
