Stack Stone
Stack stone, also referred to as cultured stone, has made a huge presence in Florida over the past ten years. Stack stone makes standard stucco and painted surfaces come to life with gripping three dimensional stone or brick. It is a man-made product (although natural stone can be used) and has multiple sizes and colors that create many options. Stack stone is applied with color mortared cement, over a metal lathe or bonding surface, and can be either grouted or stacked for different types of finishes. We buy all of our stack stone products from local companies who strive to provide the most natural look without the high cost of natural stone.
Stack stone is a unique finish for mailboxes, entryways, columns, or the area over your garage door. Outdoor Impressions also uses stack stone to face outdoor kitchens and add the finishing touches to fireplaces and water features. Stack stone provides a touch of elegance that will have the whole neighborhood talking!
For those who want to add a more professional look to the office, stack stone can be a great attention-grabber for signs and overall décor for your place of business. It is important to make a good first ‘Impression’ when it comes to your valued customers.
The sizes and colors associated with stack stone are usually determined by geographic location. Stones that come in smaller sizes can be cut in straight lines, or have more natural, jaggedlines. Larger stones can be used to create a “castle” look. Also available is a brick fascia that gives the look of real brick. There are many accessories that come with stack stone such as column caps, drip ledge, flat wall caps and peaked caps.
